What is Speed Gates

  • Speed Gates is an access control equipment which is composed of housing, electromechanical unit, control system, IR sensor, control device, etc.
  • There are two leaves which can extend and retract rapidly in each passage. When equipment receives gate opening signal, the two leaves will extend and retract rapidly at the same time, then the passage is in barrier-free status.
  • Quick gates opening, safe use and easy management make speed gates the first choice for passage with heavy volume pedestrian.

How to select Speed Gates

  • From product itself, there are three important criterions:
  • A.Lifetime;
    B.Craftwork and materials;
    C.Type of electromechanical unit.
    There are two types of electromechanical unit: fire-fighting & non fire-fighting. The most important feature for the fire-fighting is that the passage will be in barrier-free status without external force in case of power off.

  • Product use: pedestrian volume must be considered.

  • Working environment: it is suited to indoor or outdoor use.
